Fill and reuse
Fillable PDF Templates
Choose a template, fill in the details you already know, and the real A4 page builds itself as you type. Download it now, or keep it as a template and refill it next month with new values.
Pick a template and fill it
Start with an invoice, an estimate or a timesheet. The form is bound to the page preview, so a value lands in the slot the layout already has.
Opening your template…
Fill the template in the browser
The form is bound to the page's own layout, so a value lands in the slot that layout already has and the headings, tables and totals keep their order. Line amounts, tax and totals are calculated by the template, not guessed by a model. No upload, no form-field detection, no design software, no account needed to download. That is the practical difference from a blank PDF template found elsewhere: the layout and the form are the same page, so nothing has to be redrawn.
Keep the template, change the details
Separate the two kinds of value: reusable defaults (your business name, your tax rate, the columns you always use) and this document's values (this client, this date, this amount). A saved template keeps a private copy of the text and images as a design reference. Remove private customer details before saving it. The assistant asks for new details when you use the template; your original PDF stays unchanged.
Three ways to use one template
Fill it here and download. Download it blank and print it for hand-filling. Or open it in the studio and change the design by chatting. All three produce the same A4 page.
- Fill and download: type the values, check the preview, export the PDF.
- Print blank: use Download blank template, then complete the page by hand.
- Customize in chat: open the same document in the studio and change the layout, wording or colours.
What a fillable template does not do
It does not add form fields to a PDF you already have; import rebuilds a document as editable blocks instead. It does not read XFA forms or a flat scan. It is not an AI form filler that scans an arbitrary upload for fields. It is not a signature service, an accountant or a bookkeeping system. The downloaded file is a finished page, not an interactive PDF form.

Questions, answered
Can I fill a PDF template I already have?
Not by uploading it here. This page fills the templates it shows, using the form bound to each layout. PaintPDF does not add form fields to an arbitrary PDF. If you already have a PDF, keep it as a reference and rebuild the document from the closest template.
Do the totals calculate themselves?
Yes. Line amounts, tax, subtotal and totals are calculated by the template's own rules as you type. A language model does not guess the arithmetic. Check the result against your records before you send it.
Do I need an account to download the PDF?
No. Fill the form and download the A4 PDF without signing in. An account is only needed to open the document in the studio, keep it there, or continue with chat.
Can I save my own document as a template?
Yes. In the studio, use Save template to keep a private design reference. The saved copy includes its text and images, so remove private details before saving. When you use it, the assistant asks for the new details. Your original PDF stays unchanged.
Are the fillable templates free?
Yes. The examples download without a watermark or a credit card. The free plan has unlimited exports, and opening your own document in the studio uses the normal free allowance.
