Questions, answered
Packing slip or invoice?
An invoice asks for money; a packing slip confirms what is in the box. Sending an invoice in the parcel is a common mistake — it leaks your pricing to whoever opens it. This recipe keeps prices off the slip, and the invoice generator produces the billing copy when you need it.
Does a packing slip show prices?
No, by design. The items table has SKU, description, and quantity; the totals live on the invoice instead. If you want prices on it, ask the agent to add a column.
Can it include a tracking QR code?
Yes. The QR encodes the value you supply. To open parcel tracking, supply a valid tracking URL; a tracking number alone does not create a carrier integration or a working tracking page.
Can I batch several orders?
Generate one slip per order; each document is its own file. Reusing the same layout keeps a batch consistent — apply the template, then change the order details by chatting.

This deterministic recipe PDF downloads without sign-in; creating your own document in the studio requires an account.
Turn an order list into a packing slip
Provide the order number, ship-from and ship-to addresses, and the SKU, description and quantity actually included in this parcel. For a partial shipment, list shipped quantities rather than the entire order; keep unshipped items clearly separate. Supply a real tracking URL only if you want the QR to open it.
- Prompt: Make an A4 packing slip from my order list. Include the order reference, supplied addresses and a SKU / item / quantity table for this parcel only. Omit prices and tax. Mark missing details for review, and add a tracking QR only when I supply its URL.

Can I bring a document I already have?
Yes. Attach up to four files at a time: images up to 5 MB, PDFs up to 10 MB, or text files up to 200 KB (.txt, .md, .csv, .json). For Word (.docx, not .doc), PDF, Markdown, HTML or LaTeX documents up to 10 MB each, choose ‘Import a document’ from the studio’s attachment menu. The agent rebuilds imports as editable blocks; original formatting may change.
